Musical Tea Party 3.30pm Woodway Room, Town Hall, Chudleigh
The Woodway room at the town Hall was full for the afternoon of popular songs from musicals with the audience singing along to a few of the better know tunes. A cup of tea and home made cakes and biscuits in the interval were enjoyed by both audience and choir. Concerts Held During 2015

St. Cyprian’s Chapel, Ugbrooke House Lighter music from around the world formed the core of the programme that included: Settings by the Teignmouth-based composer David Haines of Charles Causley poems; California Dreaming; and some beautiful songs from Africa. Chudleigh Literary Festival
Tuesday 8th July 2014 The evening speaker was the author of Round Ireland with a Fridge, comedian and broadcaster, Tony Hawks. Author, broadcaster and comedian Tony Hawks was in conversation with journalist and CWC Chair Sharon Cook and answering questions from the audience. He was preceded by a performance of Charles Causley poems set to music by David Haines and sung by the Chudleigh Community Choir. Causley had strong links with Chudleigh’s next door village, Trusham. Saturday 3rd May 2014 When our French friends from Troarn in Normandy visited Chudleigh over the Bank Holiday weekend in May as part of our Twinning relationship, the organisers invited us to sing at their Gala Dinner in Chudleigh Community School. We performed a selection of music during their pre-dinner drinks. These included a number of well known jazz pieces, a rousing song from the English Civil War and an African spiritual. A number of choir members are also part of the Twinning Association and where hosts during the weekend. The evening also included a four course meal and lots of dancing in the form of a Barn Dance. A great time was had by all! Palm Court ConcertOur very first performance!

Our first concert proved to be a sell out and a great fun event.
